It’s so fascinating how much conductors really delve into showmanship when they are on the podium performance day! They clearly have enough trust in the musicians to carry on as rehearsed-but it’s interesting how much it can muddy the direction they had with the orchestra in rehearsals (most likely anyway-I’ve seen some conductors who are sort of just there 😂) Thanks for sharing TwoSet!

1:05 NOOOOOooo..... of course it's the series animation that gets used!! The movie was at least animated better than that. haha. To be fair...The Studio HAD A LIMITED BUDGET for the series and that budget ran out FAST. That's why the animation is almost non-existant. It got worse as the series progressed (26 episodes). It's a rite of passage for all Violinist of Hameln fans to endure a watch through of the TV series at least once. lol. The TV series also DRASTICALLY changed the tone, plot and even some character designs of the original manga. PLEASE PLEASE do not judge VoH by this clip. lol. Read the manga it's SO much better and funny. If you want to see the characters animated watch the 30 minutes "Movie" for VoH. Much nicer animation and keeps the tone of the actual manga.
